In the Silence of My Person

In the Silence of My Person

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Many past moments fall by the wayside of memory. I know there are many I can't recall.

"

There is a small inkling of sadness washing over my old forgotten memories. I hear echoes of a man I knew vaguely who seem to have vanished in the wind. The wish here is all those beautiful moments to come running home and live with me in the silence of my person.

'In the Silence of my Person'
Alfred Kukitz,
Past experiences which were so real at the time which fall by our life path's wayside...I feel the same. Where are they? Some things really stay near in our hearts. Others remember things we may forget.
Nontheless you carry many valuable layers of time.
Blessings,
Kathy

Just how most of us feel when we begin thinking of something or someone from our past. Valentine

Thanks Ed!

In one sense I do relive some memories. High school friends and I meet regularly and there is my sister and nephew to ease things a bit.

Al

I do so love the simple, and the complex, of this poem. A perfectly executed shot to the heart.:)

Lola Bee thank you Lola Bee!

Among the text that lie close to my heart I would say this is part of my heart.

This is a short dalliance with beautiful words that leave an everlasting impression. Love it. I usually scroll to the first poem I see but decided to dig deeper and look at one of your very first ones posted and was not disappointed at all.
