Tightrope DancerA Poem by Laz K.Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. - Soren KierkegaardWhen it’s
all too much, and Your nerves
are tight wires About to
snap over the abyss; When you can’t
sleep, and Life is a
bad dream you Cannot wake
from; When you
play a game, and Realized you’ve
been played, You suddenly
put on a face Like Jesus’ on the cross, and Wish your words were lifeless Marks on paper: fiction at best, Veiled confessions at worst, Read by a generation that Never knew
you. Sitting in
well-lit halls of learning, Or cozy
armchairs, they’d analyze, Explain, unlock
that which You never could
and they’d sigh and Say, “Yes,
indeed, yes, yes, indeed,” and Life would
be a puzzle solved, A chasm
crossed. © 2025 Laz K.Reviews
