![]() VanityA Poem by Laz K.
Like Cassandra, once
Cursed with a gift, I birth words that Scatter and fly like Dust in the wind. I share my bed with Corruption and lies, O vanity, vanity, all is vanity! The cold truth shivers, Wrapped in a thin, torn Blanket of sanity. A dark veil hangs Over my soul and My clumsy brush Paints this fair, green World gray and black, for The ignorance and bliss of Youth, the sweet taste of Love have gone, and Will never come back. © 2021 Laz K.Featured Review
