I am a Christian and so easily relate to this .. Christ suffered more than any of us can understand other than His suffering paid our debt ...and Jesus' pain, tho inhuman ... was very much human .. the turn in your closing is saying something important to you ..but i can not say i know what it is ... not sure how our denial re-enforces God's being .. hmmmmmmm ... i'll have to ponder that a while ..

Thank you for taking the time to read this poem. The thought behind it stemmed from pondering unconditional love. If we, collectively, did what we did to God and He still loves us, then, we should be able to do the same to others. They might treat us horribly, but if we continue to give love, that puts us on moral high ground.
