There are times when

Dishonesty and Cowardice

Put on the cloak of Righteousness

And patrol the streets of your soul

Feigning superiority

 

There are times when

You must choose

Between the laws of

The world and that of the heart

For no man can serve two masters

 

There are times when

However neat and calculated

Reasons mean nothing, and

However impossible and dim

Love is the only light to your feet

 

There are times when

Though the whole world screams “No”

You choose to whisper “Yes”

Fort it’s the only word echoing through

The empty chambers of your heart

Everyone has been told at least once in their life that they were a mistake and it's not true because even if they were they definitely would be beautiful mistake and I believe everyone is beautiful so very excellent writing.
