Enough

Enough

A Poem by Emily
"

Unrevised. Revised is Here:

"

Roaming through the darkened streets.
Shadows all around she meet.
Meandering to and Fro.
Has no certain place to go.

Black tail Twitching,
Senses itching,
For something to prey.

Looking left, looking right.
Yearning for something to fight.
Trying to get far from plight.
Yearning for something to bite.
So hungry she has no sight.

Not a mouse in all the town.
Not a living thing around
Just bodies of those who were,
Not for eating she did concurred.

Laying Down she's giving up.
Day by day shes had enough.
Enough of living this hungry life.
walks toward the alluring light.
