Rappers aren't poets.A Poem by Tinotenda NyevedzanaiPoem - ATCSpeaking fast spitting into a repetitive beat Making aggressive hand gestures shuffling on their feet They all mean something it's oh so deep They all got a sob story makes the muscle men weep They feel that s**t. But to me I see a distorted mentality Living in a money fueled reality Women as sex objects naturally Fighting against the man, against society When really they no little about politics. So some rappers get told what to say And some just look good because they get paid well But I'm sorry it's not poetic in any way You all say the same crap it gives me a headache. We get the message color doesn't matter But since when did that effect proper use of grammar? How about a positive reflection Get off my radio get some real life lessons.
