Treasure Hunt.A Poem by Tinotenda NyevedzanaiPoem - ATCTen years of clues uncovering The Truth What lies between the lines Behind the mind Led astray by words Turned sideways by emotion so much commotion it's easier to just switch off. But I found the X. After all this time and I didn't even want a shovel, I knew where it was It was obvious all along I simply refused to let it be In my face so big and red like that. I leave the chest alone Scared of the beaten gold. I wish it wasn't just me who could read maps. I hear the mattered bones rattling for battle. But I turn my back and walk away in search for treasure.
