Webbed.

Poem - ATC

"

I once knew a spider,

A beautiful creature very patient,

He met a sad ending however

Or rather a beginning of sorts?

You see Mr Spider webbed himself in so many lies

That he began to eat himself believing that he was the fly!

None of us other folk could convince him otherwise,

How carefully precise each web had been threaded,

The time and detail he had dedicated yet

Perhaps he knew all along where he would be headed?

-"A spider once webbed too many lies,

He began to eat himself thinking that he is the fly. "

Easy to do. Create a web of lies to create a poor ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

This was a good lesson. I've never understood compulsive liars.
I could never put so much effort into keeping up with all of those lies.
It reminds me of how ponzi schemes eventually collapse.

Short, yet encompasses the entire cycle of life from entrapping predator to self-accursed prey. How many lives must be devoured to completely make the character transfiguration from hunter to hunted. How much mental misery to realize the error of one's lifetime of deceit to the even more grievous misery of self-loathing that feeds upon the mind and body.

Excellent concept captured succinctly.

Good show, Ally!
