Past

When I was young

I knew nothing

My life had just begun

But death loomed in the shadows

Taking everything away

Left me in despair.

But in the dark

Someone patched my heart

And fixed all those shattered shards

Someone kind and sincere

That made me cry

Made me smile

I never knew why

But that someone left and passed away

And I was again alone

In a empty place I could not call home

Only left one message

Live strong, hold on, Life is worth living

These words I tried to believe in

Now I am grown up

In this cruel world

That I can face

Because that someone changed my life

Forever and ever

Lives within my heart
