if I am to continue on this path am I a wretched creature destined or doomed, beholden to distant visions of loveliness familiar and yet afar off, beyond the pale as sounds of laughter lift displacing the senses
vividly splashing against this mess of crumbled sashes and emptiness no longer filled
music sounds softly words are of no consequence we listen together, speechless
no more illusions an observer, no less freedom has wrought for us true happiness.
true happiness
is this what you call true happiness? lacking the backbone to say no and yet for me, it was different I waited for what was certainly months or even years
I was the one with the answers, so taut solutions for questions unspoken, creations for all things and yet, here I sit while you on that other side still can't begin to let go
'True Happiness'
Alisa Js,
How can I process another's experience? This peice was a lovely and real expression which is uniuqe to the one writing it. To a degree i can identify as there are stages within the time of dealing with relational change. It is warming for though to find myself understanding what this poem is saying. Pain does not hide from anyone. We are capable of great love and great pain.
blessings,
kathy

~ you are a phenomenal force of nature... i love your poetic voice in this piece a lot... you mean business... ~ extremely perceptive and insightful work... i am in awe...
Wow Alisa, I am amazed by the talent you share. So long ago your poems reached out to me, a if saying I am here we need to see. As I read this poem I was filled with very sad thoughts of rejection and confusion. It never seems to be that life can fully be shared by all, however this is not true. Try to stay sane. We are waiting, will see you soon love.
