Sometimes When You Cross my Mind

I thought of her today as I sometimes do

in  bittersweet  fragmented wisps,

a brief hi-ho

that familiar slash inside my soul

was it really her I missed

or the mystery of 

a Mother's love

I never knew,

not in the way of most ...

Hi my friend it’s been forever but I love this juxtaposition. The hi ho sound almost jolly and then the slas (pain. Loss) to even it out. I have missed your words. I trust things are well on your part of the planet?

Woo! Like stepping on a nail, this one requires I stop and think, of so many fragmented wisps that slash (love the image). They cut so clean! Some are like a Rothco, some a Klimt, some Picasso, and some a Dali... but then, there are those by O'Keefe that make me want to freeze right there forever...
