sitting here, inside these thoughts

tossed about in the second wind

the paths we took

were they the ones we chose,

or did we fall

into this abyss.

and here we sit,

oblivious

while the world marches on

could this be a different place

one not based on evidence,

the only way to see this view

is to believe
