Summer Scenes

Summer Scenes

A Poem by Alisa Js

it was in the days of lavender and honey sticks
somewhere in the back of a cool, summer dream
you met me on a Wednesday
with that sappy hello

how did I know that one day
I would consider you divine

from that day to one day
inseparable became our middle name
morning to mid-day
mid-day to mid-night
inside every hour we lived
each moment, lifetimes

and now, here without you
I am never alone ...

One Day..."from that day to one day" can be a blink of an eye, or many at a time. Thinking of you.

losing a loved one who held this much magic...he or she would always be by our side, eternity as well...

my mom or dad could have written this...70 years married to each other.

love it.

~ ohhhh... what a magical piece of poetry, dear alisa... and indeed... one cannot be alone after such an overwhelming and fulfilling experience... and i adore the "sappy hello" image... :)

~ my privilege, dear alisa... :)
The sweetest story of a thousand Summers squeezed into a piece of time too small for all that happiness, perhaps that's why it couldn't last - it defied too many 'laws' - was a glitch, as they say...a truly beautiful glitch.
I love this Alisa.
Aloha my friend.
