there is still a place for us

somewhere between these tortured memories

and unsanctioned why's

and on this cold, dark night

that could have been anything but

glimpses of you remain

and I can't get you out of my mind

no matter how hard I try

and maybe I don't...

Some memories always resides in our mind because of two reasons. First, we were emotionally attached with them. Second, we have learned some good lessons from those memories. In both cases we always keep them in our mind. well written. Thanks for sharing.

sometimes, some memories are so tied up with mind that no matter how hard we try, we can't untuck, remove & break the loath of such miserable memories from the corners of one's mind, cos may be, it's not just memories we live throu', but also more like a dogma of illusive and dramatically hypnotized life that only shows what's already moved on by life. very deep. and structured poetry you licked in.
