Heart Treasure

his voice

a serenade, a symphony

carried my thoughts to such a beautiful place

daring me to wonder,

daring me to...

as I listened in rapt reverie

placing myself there,

between his grief

beside his pain

would I be able to make him smile again

by tenderly calling his name?

there are moments we can treasure

and some of them are these

ethereal delights, quantum leaps

find you here with me

we will skip along the stars above

dance inside the ocean waves,

run like children chasing the breeze

and laugh again,

the way it could be

in another destiny

if only,

you believe...

I really enjoyed this write. I believe there is so much in the universe we do not understand. Quantum physics being one area of knowledge we will grow beyond our present knowing. The other is the nature of our spirits and the ways we know each other... IMO. What a wonderful world we live in! What a fantastic universe we are a part of!
Beautiful write. I am glad you are inspired.
Is it really "his" symphony you hear? Could it be you have found your own music?

This is such a beautiful thought to be inspired so by an overheard voice. As one who sounds like shrek with a cold, I am a little envious, but understand the thought and inspiration behind it. Long may you stay inspired.
