finding my place on the far side of this very small ledge
I observed, as I often do during times of great consternation wondering to myself where does love go? when the door slams shut and the hammer falls hard without warning. watching for clues in the words I heard when your mouth moved nothing. feelings of ice buckets inside my face with this cold wave slap. guess I shouldn't be surprised since, what I knew was there had nothing to do with what you believed to be, even though this no longer makes sense no matter how hard we try out here, I will slip inside the night rolling without sound after ear drums wrecked ...
