UntitledA Poem by Alisa Js
Summer pleasures collectively peeking
There was that. Observations from the second shelf Listened while we slept
Across the night skies blazed the scent Of ever after and reminisce
He called to ask about forever She bothered not to care, rather Joked about the weather Anything to change the mood as the moon fell sick And forgot to rise Deciding on some other day Time stretched between the question posed While the answer fell behind He traded in the serenade She never stopped to hear Blinded by dysfunction's curse He never knew She felt it, too The music slowed Laughter died Pauses grew wings and kissed the sky Brazen died in the summer wind And slowly blew away...
