OverwinterA Poem by Alisa Js
next to the burning ocean
there was you, like a golden umbra intoxicating mesmerizing a mortal soul like me salty sea breezes played with our tongues as our minds wandered below cinnamon waves grasping one last vestige as we held out hope this resuscitation would be something more than lips to flesh silk to felt meet me in the hydrosphere we will make our way there sharing quintessence having lasted for days and weeks and months is this our epiphany or do we need more
