ChoicesA Poem by Alisa Js
it was in the second half of the third attempt
when the wall came down, illusions of safety splatters of comfort lazy chats around some long ago summer fire in some far away space gone. without even a hint of good-bye unfiltered exchanges slide verbal deep set emotions surfaced, though afraid to be seen faulty transmission, years in the making dysfunction at best there is no safe harbor these steps are half-broken and crumbling is this true madness? when all roads lead to heaviness regardless of how hard you try to realize where is the welcome sign that true sense of longing and cherish they say it's about choices choices, you say what if what about who cares, anyhow... I'm almost at the point of not trying this round
