Ashes

Ashes

A Poem by Alisa Js

I remember these ashes
and the moment you slipped through
around the bound

was it you
far away from common ground
where things were quiet and peaceful still
a wonderful dream if only,
it were true

madness came and spied again
it never stops
the games
she waits

why would you leave me in ever after?

by morning you were gone
and I never thanked you...

madness came and spied again
it never stops
the games - love isnt games, not real love. Madness is the games.

Your poetry speaks to every fibre of my being and even in the sorrow - affords a solace - thank you for sharing Alisa

:: haha... not at all an exercise in futility, dear alisa... :: i love this poem because it captures the essence of the yin and yang war... :: guys just don't get that they could be the dream come true for a girl... :: most of them act very macho but inside they are very intimidated by girls... :P :: sometimes i think they just don't get love... and by the time they realize that a particular relationship was love, it's too late... and the pretty bird has flown... or... maybe this is what my experience is like... :P

:: my privilege... sweet alisa... :)
it is cruel when we lost the ones we love....I saw the ashes here not as literal...but more figurative...

but then whether a literal death or a figurative...it hurts us when we are unable to thank another....when it is just too late...
and all that is left for us is an uneasy vacancy.
