glistening beside the winter sun beyond the pale

beckoning ever so

inside this velvet bliss

memories burst open,

a silent kiss

here again as before

you appear.

nothing's changed

all is as it once was

timeless, endless

him and her

her and him

seems like millenniums ago

we were.

how does one sustain

each breathless proclamation

every sultry word

letters fall around my head

as they drift along this indecent conception

something rustles outside my window frame

moments too long

lights flicker as a car drives by.

I've turned a thousand corners

believing.

it never stops ...

You'll turn a thousand more I am sure. The "letters fall around my head" is a nice allusion or touch or whatever the hell it is..lol. You are "again" the eternal poet of passion and it just keeps getting better. One last thing though...You really need to get back to writing, It's Dec ya know...chop..chop!...CIao!
PS: Never give up..as Jimmy says. "Keep on pushing...STRAIGHT AHEAD" You are a writer ....right?!

:: wow... exquisite poetry, sweet alisa... it has the feel of an epic song... that "silent kiss" is magical... the continuity of "him" and "her" is amazing... i absolutely loved "every breathless proclamation"/"every sultry word"... stunning poetic expression in these lines... and that last stanza... and the last two lines... are the perfect closing for this "song serenade"... incredible alliteration, sweet alisa... this is a very poetic and 'decent' composition... :P
