Transition

Transition

A Poem by Alisa Js

I am here
under this midnight obsession
alone with these thoughts
that bought the quiet, beyond eerie.
the chatter has sashayed
down through the open floor lords
next to the dark door
that leads to new worlds

what do you do
when your world starts to plummet
reality removed and
realigned.
where is the next leap
or chance for another
shot.
destiny unknown
except under salty tides

there are no words here
only thoughts
dark images slide
blowing whispers spent,
what do you place in the spaces
now empty
filled once with memories and dreams...

~ yes... the power of now... you know, i was in a conversation with my mother earlier today... and your words in that review have stayed with me so well... that i was telling her... "i have to diagnose the disease as it is today, right now"... "and then find a cure for it"...

Thank you, serah very much for your time and comments.

There is something amazing about the power of now, to be sure...

~ i have tears in my eyes... i know this place so well that it had become my permanent residence... that last stanza is so compelling and expressive... that i am yet again astounded by your pursuit of excellence in poetic expression...

~ when i was in this place, mr. ed hart said... "the name of the lesson is loss but it is a gain"... and "one foot in front of the other, one step at a time"... and mr. frank james davis said... "do what you can until you can do more"... and "take one day at a time"... and... "that which got you here will see you through"... ~ i don't know if you're in this place right now or this poem is about something in your past... but i thought i'd share the insights i've received with you...

~ oh... and i read your stunning review of a poem by "little whisper" i think... i read it many times... and i was particularly inspired by what you said about making whatever exists an ally... i did just that and i think my life is beginning to improve... so i wanted to also thank you for that...
