The man who can't be movedA Poem by CelestieI've stood in solemn solitude for all the days of my life For the ones I truly loved drifted away They left me one by one, leaving melancholy in their wake So I stand here festering in my despondent decay Of course they would leave, I gave them no reason to stay I filled their lives with ceaseless strife But it hurts to realize that all those smiles were so fake And now the festering in my soul cuts through my body like a knife So I take the pain and accept it, and solemnly I stand For taking that step and moving on is far too much grief for me to take Standing here like this helped enforce the sadness that I proved The sadness that I I proved felt knifes and guns and stakes Sometimes I wonder if this desolate life was something my heart had always planned for now I hear everyone speaking of the man who could not be moved
