Child's Suicide Note

Typically, teens are the ones writing suicide notes, but this is an entirely different case.

Child’s Suicide Note

 

Mommy I’m sorry I had to go,

But this bad man wouldn’t stop you know,

He tied me down with metal chains,

He looked like he was quite insane,

 

Every night I left Barbie to guard my bed,

Because if I didn’t go with him, I was as good as dead,

He coaxed, “It's ok” in a sweet soothing voice,

He said he’d buy me brand new toys,

 

He said he would tattle and I didn’t want that,

He said you’d call me a filthy rat,

I didn’t want to let you down,

I didn’t want to let your smile drown,

 

So it was off with my nightie, my body in his cold hands,

He said he had to tape it for his internet fans,

Out from my body, blood poured like a river,

Every time I saw him, my whole body shivered,

 

You said to always listen, and that’s what I did,

Followed Daddy to the basement like a good kid,

But now that I’m gone it won’t happen again,

I won’t be touched by anymore men,

 

And even thought this world sometimes isn’t fair,

I’ll always be with you, Mommy, I’ll be there.
