We Fall

We Fall

A Poem by Alicia Huntley

We fall.
We fall to the fake.
What brings us pleasure now,
but you will forsake
what is truly pleasurable.
We fall.
We fall to the sins.
We see our immediate desire,
but this is where the problem beings
to lead to sadness.
We lose.
We lose what is real.
