Acid RainA Poem by alice.wrightMy musings on strained relationships.Words fall like rain
bruising the face of the sun and the moon. An eternal dance, choreographed by the need to forever be acknowledged as right. Eclipses. Partial, total. Lunar, solar. Insignificant in the grand scheme of things yet they hurt.
Traces of words (now forgotten) whose meanings carry the full unbridled pain that one wishes upon the other. Love is strong, yet it bends, buckles, breaks. Under the lashings of acid rain that fall
drop by drop.
