A Poem by alice3wonderland

Your hands in my hair

Your hands on my waist

Scouring every inch of my body

I attempt not to shudder

I try not to flinch

I feel myself shutting down

Protecting myself from damage

I feel the heat rush to my face

But not because of you

Not in a good way

My heart is pounding a hundred beats a second

Not in a good way

I wanted this

I wanted you

I called you

I feel my heart build a guard around itself

Not because of you

Not because I could love you

Because I can't

I wanted to want this

I needed to want this

But I need you...to stop

This is certainly a thought provoking piece. Maybe a little polishing(just maybe).
BUt yeah a job well done.

Thank you.

This is quite interesting. I think it's a point most women find themselves at… attraction and physical desire lead us down a fraught path. It takes great strength of mind to stop that headlong rush and great strength of character in the partner to comply with those wishes at such a moment.

A powerful poem for the need of the flesh and you led to the need of the heart.
"Because I can't
I wanted to want this
I needed to want this
But I need you...to stop"
Sometime we want things we do not need at that moment. Good to listen to the mind, the heart. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
