Babe

Babe

A Poem by Alex Thurley-Ratcliff
"

Saw this graffiti the other day as I rode the train into London and it got me writing...

"

Babe
You’re my punk color
Rough cut and spray canned
Lover

Babe
You’re my blue sky
Above a dirty wall
Doc Martens in a suit

Babe
You’re my wall of death
I sit beneath and worship
At your bare feet beauty

Babe
Tube-ride me home
Late night and
Lone

Babe
I’ll scruff the polish
off your shiny shoes
with my rough heart
….
