Collage Poem

By: Alexis Davis

South Carolina, Myrtle Beach 2012

A vacation full of family and friends

The hot sun and non-humid air

Spending most of the hours and days at the beach

Jumping over the waves trying not to fall under

Finding seashells and using a flashlight to find crabs

Staying up late and ordering pizza

The long drive there and home

Traffic every way you look

Building stronger relationships

Many snowflakes in the air

Traffic problems caused

People stranded for hours and hours

Running out of gas

Nobody to call

Cell phones dying

People dying

So many hours of not moving

Roads closed

Snow

Leaf

Slowly falls from tree

Many colors

Different patterns

Crunchy when fall comes to an end

Raking them into brown bags

All over the yard

Annoying

Pretty

Red, Orange, Brown

Leaves
