Can trees feel the rough antagonizing weather? Like his words
Can they feel the birds and squirrels teetering on their branches? Like his touch
Do they feel their roots sinking into the ground and trying to become stable and stand tall? Like my heart's roots sinking into him
Do they feel the rain and the snow falling down on them, like a river slowly gushing it's treasure? Like my tears
Do they feel the wind blowing, their roots moving, their branches shaking, their leaves leaving? Like his actions
Can they feel when someone decides to strike them down with cold metal and steel?
Do they feel the loss of themselves, and do they lose memories of watching from the years of being planted into the earth? Do they feel the loss and the pain?
Maybe being a tree is not that different from being me.
Hm mm, the concept of the poem is amazing and the poem overall is brilliant.
Perhaps, there is a little error in the formatting, poetries are never formatted and paragraphed the way you have portrayed; even though you have, to make it look different but in 'professional' poetry its never formatted in this manner. (I hope I haven't hurt you).
I really liked the poem, its beautiful, the imagery used has made it magnificent. :)

This is great. You've successfully taken a subject and related yourself to it, whether you decided to do this or not. It's very heartfelt. And most of us can relate.
now..what i really like here is the structure of the poem..the format is very different..there is something so very special about the tress..we could barely imitate them..their resilience has no bounds..they are encumbered by sorrow..yet they do not show...
I believe all plant life is alive. Their purpose is create fresh air for us to breath. A outstanding poem. I believe we need to respect nature. We need her more then she need us. If it still your birthday. Happy birthday.

Alex, this poem is amazing. The imagery and concept are amazing. You write like someone well above your age. I love everything, but I would work on this part...
Do they feel the loss of themselves, and do they lose memories of watching from the years of being planted into the earth? Do they feel the loss and the pain?

Work with that italicized response thing you have going on...perhaps like this...
Do they feel the loss of themselves, and do they lose memories of watching from the years of being planted into the earth? Do they feel the loss and the pain? (Like me)
Oh! I liked it, because, as howl said, you compared a tree to a person, and I've never read anything quite like that on this site before. It was creative and unique.
What more can I say? This was great.

I read, I write, I edit videos. I feel, I hate, I love. I do not try to be anyone but myself, which is extremely diverse. I get obsessed with things way too easily-its a curse. I do not recc.. more..
