Country Girls

Country girls,

best in the world.

With shiny boots,

ribbons, and pearls.

Pick up trucks,camo shirt,

happiness, and lots of dirt.

Yes, country girls bleed red, white, and blue,

&we do not care if we offend you.

We live our life to the fullest extent,

although sometimes we're shattered,broken,and bent.

We fall in love fast,

with out warning.

Heart break follows with tears pouring.

You never know what you'll find,

when you look down deep,

into our minds.

Country girls,

best in the world.

Carolina boondocks,

with our hair all in curls.

Absolutely true. Same goes for us country boys. Except we don't wear pearls or have our hair in curls. Pearsnaps and hat hair is our game. I think you would enjoy some of my poems called "Wandering" and "A Stolen Heart."
