Desirable

Desirable

A Story by Alexis Caitlin King

Love is a concept best left to the masses. Far from me. Set me to sail
on and ocean deep and rocky, keeping  my heart at the cusp of my throat.
I fell too deep into you. Pain, this is a concept I know and understand
well. The needle pulses in and out of my flesh, dragging the ink deep
into my skin. The colors are beautiful, rich and vibrant against my
milky white flesh. I’m calmed by the vibrations shaking my muscles. I’m
relaxed. I want your heart in my hand. Pulsating. Throwing blood to the
floor. On a skewer, held close to my lips. I want to impale you and make
you gush. I want your soul. You’re the man who isn’t there. A shadow
moving among people like a faint glimmer. But most of all I want you to
know I’m here. I can show you the beauty. I want to save you. I want all
of these things that I know you’ll never know. Just run away. We’ll
flee. Leave everything behind . Nobody needs to know. We’ll change
people, their lives and their perspectives. We’ll show the world peace. I
need someone like you. And I know you need me.
