Cracked

She was a crippled woman
But only her mind and heart were cracked 
Drowning in a pool of agony
Bound by walls of regret and pain
She was deceived by lies possessed by the snake's tongue
She gives way to the mask
Which casts a cloak over her raw identity
Forged words spill from her lips
Where innocence once spoke
The sensitive touch of joy is now replaced by nothing
More than a silent whisper
A song of comfort that soothed her sorrow
Was now lost for she was left alone...


Stranded in a nonexistent dream

Beautiful and raw. Love the line 'the sensitive touch of joy is now replaced by nothing more than a silent whisper' I think nothingness can be even worse than pain.

So full of raw emotion. "Bound by walls of regret and pain" - I loved this line as I found it possessed so much meaning and relevance in so few words. Look after yourself and don't stop writing. It can allow you to let out so much pain...
