The Love Letter

You sleep beside me, shadow of light

You are the one that stays by my side

You are there looking at me

Your soft green eyes so mellow and so sweet

You are quiet like the night, the moon your friend

You are there looking at me

You were laughing like a lark

You are songful and whisper and silent

You are the wind that wraps around me

You are fierce and mighty with hands that grip

You wrap me in an embrace that reminds me of home

Childhood is calling

Bedsheets are sprawling

Pillows are being thrown 

Ice cream is shared

We are jumping on your bed

The same one you jumped on as a child

The mood seems to change

As each seconds pass

Hyperactive and fragmented

My poem for you

I grow serous to childlike

On a simple whim

Oh fellow, oh man, how you rapture my heart so

Don’t you feel this bond?

Please don’t ever let it go

You are there beside me

Your eyes so beautiful

Like soft grass that has been mowed

In my mind deep at last

You are spinning around me

Dancing to electronic beats

Feel my heart, you shout, feel how it beats

I am the reason that I am dancing around these sheets

The ice cream is melted

The song has ended

We are dancing in silence

I watch you in awe and watch your presence

You are like the ocean

All wish to bask in your waves

Your mind is a beautiful tide

Beating against my knees

I fear the ocean

The ocean can kill me, I think

But I trust you as I build a sandcastle next to you

You greet me with your waves

Waves, waves, waves

Softly brushing against my feet

The sound is calm and relaxing

You are smiling next to me

You grab my hands

Oh, is this love, I shout? Is that what I have wanted?

My words make no sense

My mind is a jumble

The words that I want to sing to you

Are nothing more than three

I love you

I love you, too

Wake up from the dream

Ah, yes, come back to reality

There is a distance between us

But we are not that far

We are a simple drive away

From the dancing sheets and melted ice cream

We are bonded and one

You and me we will be 

The will be to be forever

That is what I think

You are galaxy and planet

You are the rings of Saturn

You spin around my head

As you dance with Jupiter

The sky is around you 

The stars envy your song

You are dancing to electronic beats

You are one with the tide

The moon basks in your gravity

You make the galaxy shake

You are galaxy and planet

You are universe and end

Lover of mine, don’t you see?

Don’t you see what you mean to me?

You are the ocean and the land

You are the air that I breath

You are the universe that all get to see

Let me see your universe

Let me see your thoughts

Let me dance to your electronic beats

Let me feel your mind

Let me be one with you in spirit

Let me feel inside of you

Let me understand just how good it feels to love you

You will stay

You are present and future

We have a distance that is here

But that’s okay

My words are still rambles

You still smile

And with a boom and clap

My universe began
