The Pool of Red

The Pool of Red

A Poem by Alexandra Casal

I walk the face of earth again,
I see eyes glaring at me from the back of my head,
I was once in a family of businessmen,
The pool of red,
I woke up to in the morning,
The morning ever so dull,
I hear the sound of warning,
I see a door and pull,
The door leads to a light of darkness,
Darkness for the businessmen,
Walking into the darkness you turn heartless,
But once again,
Where is the briefcase ?
