Masquerade

Behind the mask,
secrets unknown,
stories untold.

Pain,
      Anguish,
                   Heart-felt sorrow.

Feelings
     implanted by you.

Stapled to my heart.


To stay forever and longer.

Is there such a thing?

Longer than forever?

I'll be the one to find out.

As i hide,
              behind my mask of joy.
