       A tree

        grows to the sky;

       Strong and Beautiful,

       Old initials carved into its

          trunk; a dead limb hanging,

               waiting to break away. buds

      growing, dead leaves always

    falling. This tree, Strong

    and Beautiful

    flawed,

  like

  you

   and me.

Death and rebirth, it's all part of the wider cycle. 'Beautiful but flawed', ourselfs reflected in nature, I think this poem is perfect, a great piece. I read this a while ago, and thought i reviewed :(, always a pleasure to revisit your work though :)
