Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

Humanity
Is but a dream
That our humble minds
Will never grasp,
A dream we will never
Wake from
Until it’s too late
To warn the others.

You've said a mouthful.
It does seem we miss the larger purpose of life. Maybe we could get people to start small with little acts of kindness and have that momentum pick up some speed. Then at least we wouldn't be loosing any more ground.
The old notion of treating everyone like your neighbor hardly applies in a time where society works extra hard to never meet his neighbors.
