The Fine Line Between Love And Heartbreak

The Fine Line Between Love And Heartbreak

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

I often think love and heartbreak feel awfully similar.
I think sometimes we can be awfully particular
About the things we want,
They aren't always the things
We need.
I often think love and heartbreak feel awfully similar.
I think some people love to love and
Love the heartbreak, too.
I think some people need to feel
Something stronger than the bliss of content love.
I often think love and heartbreak feel awfully similar.
I think some people aren't ready to be loved.
I think some people need too bad to be loved.
I think some people need the rollercoaster of
Falling in love and falling out of love.
I often think love and heartbreak feel awfully similar.
I think strong people want to be loved.
I think broken people want to be broken by heartbreak.
I think I want to be fixed by love.
I think I've gambled with enough heartbreak.

I'll take love as is. I've never been a fan of heartache. It makes me feel too down and miserable.
