When the Tide Rises, Stay Calm

When the Tide Rises, Stay Calm

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

The currents of the rapids in my mind
Churn all of my thoughts and emotions
Into a whirlpool of madness.
And through the ups and the downs
The ins, outs, the choking and gasping
Eventually,
I close my eyes and relax my body
And I float.

Great imagery and flows nicely. Our minds can be our worst enemies. This piece captures it perfectly. The relaxing & floating are the hard parts. Great write.
