A Poem by alexandria.

let us collect things our hands will never hold
like silence in doorways to undiscovered spaces
recollections of dreams, and freckles.
we will collect sunsets and electric wind,
rooms full of rainbow shadows, whispers,
snow storms and incorrect lyrics to songs.
yes, we'll search for things that brighten the secret pockets of your imagination
and encourage my tendency to fracture into brilliant sharpened shards
of light and mirrors.
before us there will grow a collection of flowers who may or may not exist on stars,
chess moves, arguments, strange fits of laughter, unconquerably deep snow,
orgasms and also, shining bits of both our souls.
