DICTIONARY FOR SPOTLESS MINDS

DICTIONARY FOR SPOTLESS MINDS

A Poem by L.A.Bernal

Scars wash off with water
Infants are careless beings
Oaths can not be broken
Oceans flood fast with tears

Corn fields are scary thoughts
Feathers can fly through mud
Truffles are bags of poison
Neurons are popping bubbles

Waves are empty sounds
Lips are just an outlet
Flowers are bitter death
Humans are vicious beasts

Power is no man's land
Enemies are rotting corpses
Wishes turn into sparks
Idols are made of stone

Love is a plain weapon
Madness, an artless dream
Justice is clearly outrageous
Hatred is common sense

Memories are awful nightmares
Endings are ingenious cowards
Hunger is a true feeling
Ideas are washed up lyrics

Laughter is not contagious
Alcohol is an ingredient
Lies are frankly accurate
Mistakes are pure creation
Existence, a fatal accident
Fate, a sucker punch
 Impulse, a doubtful move
Words that scream forgiveness
Because we are only wrong
Time a monstrous friend
 Space is empty joy
Yes a simple syllable
No an unwise choice
Wednesday a new beginning
Sunday a childish end
Sunrise a switch to turn on
Darkness, a sweet release
You are one big mess
together, one ludicrous  thought
Me, an unknown being
 Poems, the hands of death
Trying a mediocre way
