Hot Air Balloon

I wrote this poem in school and got an 100% !!

The Balloon

is bubbly like a cloud bouncing by

as they float up

like a boat in the sky

They light up the sky

like a computer at night

or a lantern being held

by the person in the basket

Briskly floating up there are birds

wide spread wings flapping in the wind

feeling free

like overlapping waves in the ocean

The balloon is a spirited ghost at night

floating around

yet standing out

vivaciously

The round creative balloon

floats up without care

hot-air balloons are free

just like you and me
