Fire

Fire

A Poem by Alexa D'Angelo

The crackle
The burn
The wisp of the air
I smell all around

Flags whipping back and forth
Wind blowing smoke
Fire dancing by a thread
In my "front yard"

Newspaper to start
Blowing with the wind
All in chairs
Drinking coffee for now

Dog tied up
Morning fire air
Good morning race fans
That's why we are here

This was about my adventure at a NASCAR race.

Interesting, I enjoyed the flow, however I'm not sure I truly comprehended your motives with this piece, regardless nicely done.
