The Twisting Jagged RoadA Poem by AlexDifficult is this twisting jagged road;
Braided with all the wrong choices sallowed. Daunting is a turn at the ominous intersection; But unknown is its mysterious destination. Shall a turn be embraced, a Rubicon crossed.; A burning candle at noon, lost and perplexed. Merry there is none for evil of the past; A carnival of frayed shards on your history lashed. In this maze of nothingness, chaos and confusion; Why shan't take the tunnel unknown in trepidation? But if standing on the other side a velvet fate; You lose and lost each time and still be placid? If I could bear only two paper wings; Fly over the shadows and to the peaks; of destiny shall await me high up there. But they say final destiny only is death; Then why not take the sidewalk; and crawl to the end. © 2010 AlexAuthor's Note
