Medusa

Medusa

A bit dark but it's a wonderful character to work with.

Medusa

Hundreds of vile snakes, twisting, flicking out their tongues to taste blood. Like green hair, scaly serpents hang. Her eyes, the same colour as the blood she craves. Redder than rubies, fire or wine. Take one look, you’ll never see, feel, hear, taste anything but her merciless gaze that turns you to a stone statue. Perfect in every detail, the statues stand in her dreary garden. Young and old men who tried to fight, thinking of how they would become heroes when they slayed the monster. But they didn’t find the fortune, fame, pride, happiness they were looking for. All they found was their doom. And its name was Medusa.

As I said before, you would be AWESOME at writing short stories! I would love to have been read adventurous stories like these as a child. Then again, I was always into the darker kinds of stories, lol. Very creative wording. I enjoyed this!
