Minotaur

His rages of fury are a site to behold, so dangerous and yet amazing that you can’t tear your eyes away from the destruction that this being has caused. Half man, half bull. The scariest being around. Scarier and more powerful than any witch, ogre or dragon. His treacherous mother, the reason for his deformance, his rages of fury directed at her. They only got worse when they locked him up. He could see the sun but no warmth would touch him, and yet he can see and touch the cold cement that surrounds him. He sees the stars and the moon and sky and wonders why, why oh why was he cursed, for his mother was the culprit not him. His fate was horrible, worse that a death sentence, because he had no power of speech to exclaim his sorrows. It welled up inside him until it burst forth like a river, a red, lava hot river that would destroy mercilessly. That is the Minotaur’s life.

I really sensed the Minotaur's pain here. You've done an excellent job painting a clear picture with your words. This was a fun, beautifully mournful read. Thank you for sharing!
