For You There'll Be No More Crying

For You There'll Be No More Crying

A Poem by Annette Lemma
"

When a friend leaves his family and goes to war he leaves behind so much more.

"

Off you go leaving us in your wake
Of sea or sand I cannot say
My eyes are stinging just the same

Water
Dust
Water
Dust

It is difficult to catch my breath
My lungs are stinging just the same

Soon we will get used to it

Feeling responsible
Longing for your return

Dust
Water
Dust
Water
Then will be tears of Joy, Relief, Le
tting go

My eyes are stinging just the same
