Spring is a temptressA Poem by Verina BlancheSpring is a temptress Amid the winter air Sending wafts of pleasant aromas towards him engulfing him in her beauty.
Just for a day The foul and bitter cold Gives way To her tantalizing colors And he's lost in her strong greens and blues.
His spirits lift With the hope that she might become his.
But she glides past him Without a word, And he's left In the dull gray With only a memory Of her vivid splendor. © 2008 Verina BlancheReviews
